My eyes always get itchy and watery. I’ve tried Claritin, but it didn’t help at all!

Try some other over the counter medication. Claritin does not work for me, but Sudafed does.
Wash you hair every night, and also change your pillowcase nightly. Vacuum once a day or so to keep pollen spores in the house to a minimum.

I just refilled my prescription for Clarinex and bought a box of tissues…

If over the counter medicines don’t work for you you may have a severe allergy. This means that it may be necessary for you to go to an allergist. Another thing you can do is keep taking clariton but also at night take benadryl. Also, over the counter eyedrops help a lot. And some eyedrops you can store in the fridge, so when you put them in your eyes it cools them down leaving you feeling better.

To build up immunity to local pollen then use local honey. I got this advice from a Dr. and it worked for me.
