It is also common for individuals who are allergic to latex to experience a rash or hives. A severe reaction to a latex product can lead to anaphylactic shock which can be fatal and these symptoms can include breathing difficulties, vomiting, weak or rapid pulse, and loss of consciousness. Individuals who are the most prone to latex allergies are those who work in the health care field and rubber manufacturing industry.
