      This is called “pollen culture”, and it is used to produce haploid plantlets. If you search Google for “pollen culture”, you will find a lot of information. The medium is agar, and you will need plant hormones. Here is one recipe, there are more in the sources links:

      Chu’s N6 medium (available from Sigma-Aldrich) supplemented with NAA, a synthetic auxin (2-4 mg/1), kinetin (0.3 mg/1), casein hydrolysate (1 g/1), and 5% sucrose at pH 5.7
