Is it common for cats to show signs of spring allergies?

My cat gets congested with coughing and sneezing every spring. I’ve been told that animals can develope allergies, but I’ve never known any other cat to do this. (I know cats cough with furballs this time of year, but that is not what’s happening.)

Yes, it is more common than you think. I have a kitty that gets a runny nose and sneezes often during spring. Try looking at this site for more info.
Good luck.
