How to get lily pollen out of cream carpet?

Help! Whilst removing the pollen bits from the flower I dropped one on the un-scotch guarded cream carpet! I used sellotape to get the dusty bits off and then used Vanish Oxi action carpet spray but it’s just gone an even brighter shade of yellow. Any ideas? White wine vinegar? baking soda? Rug?! thank you!

Mix some biological washing powder with nearly hot water and lightly sponge the area. Then soak up with a dry cloth. That should get it out.
