Pollen is in the air from trees, flowers, and other plants. It is especially high in the spring when all the flowers are blooming. I highly doubt that is the cause of itchy skin. Treat the skin with a good lotion. If that doesn’t help check with a doctor for Rx medication.

It’s possible to have skin reactions to pollen, due to hypersensitivity from exposure. The high pollen varies as certain species of trees and other plants start to flower, you can also be allergic to certain pollens and not others.

For treating the itchy skin you can try topical creams, like hydrocortisone. You can also treat it with Benadryl, which can ease the itching but might make you sleepy. One of the simplest ways to treat it is to wash your skin with cool water, so as to wipe the pollen off.

Some people also swear by taking a teaspoon of locally grown honey to combat pollen allergies because of the concentration of pollen to build immunity. Last I knew this hadn’t been absolutely proven to work, but is folk wisdom.

its got to be something else thats causing your skin to itch, pollen is an airborne allergen,it causes sneezing and itchy red eyes, but not itchy skin.
