anvs asked: what is the difference between a dust and pollen filter and air cleaner element
IN my honda civic sedan 2004, factory recommendations shows replace dust nad pollen filter every 2 years AND replce air cleaner element every 15K..
so are they the same or different? is dust and pollen fitler same as air fitler???
experts advise, tx

It is down to the size of the particle, the link gives you a graph to show you the size of them.

air cleaner element is under the hood, and for filtering engine air, the HEPA or pollen and dust filter is under the dash in front of the passenger seat and filters passenger air.

The AIR CLEANER element is for the engine. The DUST & POLLEN filter is for the passenger compartment air.
