Is there a trick to stop lilies from shedding messy pollen?

Friday, June 13th, 2008
Beth asked:

I know I had heard of something in the past, but does anybody know any tricks on how to keep lily pollen from falling everywhere and making a mess? Besides cutting off the stamens, of course. Thanks!!
They’re inside. I heard of a trick where you didn’t have to remove the stamens, but I can’t remember what it is. thanks!

Does taking bee pollen really work for getting rid of allergies?

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008
Chal asked:

I’ve read this online, but I would like to know if anyone has taken it and if it worked. I’m aware that the bee pollen would have to be local.

So, does it work???

Does Eugene really have the highest pollen count on Earth?

Friday, June 6th, 2008
Lord asked:

I live in Eugene and every year, I see pollen clouds, pollen storms, and quite literally ground covered in pollen at times. I’ve read that Eugene has the highest pollen count on the planet but never have I seen actual data to prove it. Is it true? If so where’s the data?
Pollen clouds refers to ultra high density pollen packs. It’s like tumbleweed made of friggin pollen. Maybe it’s an Oregonian thing.

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008
Harry P asked:

Hi, i cycle and love to be outdoors, however, since moving to the USA I’ve developed serious pollen allergies. I’m thinking of buying an allergy mask from 3M to wear while playing outdoor.
Does anyone have any experience with these? are they any good? are they re-usable? which is the best?
thanks
